New American Voters Project: 10,000 New Citizens Registered to Vote!

On June 18, 2014 the New American Voters Project registered its 10,000th newly naturalized American citizen to vote.  This innovative collaboration won an award from the National Association of Secretaries of State in 2013, and is being already replicated in other states. 

This case study that tells the story of the inspiring collaboration among three of our table partners--Causa, Center for Intercultural Organizing, and Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon--and some key government champions, namely our Secretary of State, Kate Brown, and Evelyn Sahli from the USCIS.
